What was I Loving Three Years Ago? • FASHION

Triple Crop
As a blogger there will be multiple times where you write a blog post but for some reason never post it or save it for a day where you have a complete writers block and let it gather dust in the drafts folder... I thought it would be interesting what I was obsessed with three years ago (way before when I first started this blog - I have since gone back and updated everything and started over) and what I was posting. So here lies a vintage post that was inspired my friend Abbie (shoutout to Abbie if you're reading this!) who wanted a style guide for the summer months. This is word for word what I wrote on this blog, many moons ago... But from the looks of things my style really hasn't altered that much! (I'm not sure if that's good or bad..?)

One Of My Greatest Health Secrets • HEALTH & FITNESS

Photograph of me by Lucy Alice Burt

I think one of the keys to me always managing to stay (roughly) the same size, not having to worry about crash diets or losing loads of weight is all down to one thing. My consumption of alcohol. I don't consume any. Now that might seem 'shocking' as most people cannot believe that a girl of my age who's been to university, lived in London and is pretty social can go out clubbing until 4am sober as a rock. Well it's true. But I believe this is my ultimate health power - aside from veganism of course!

How to Celebrate Easter Without All The Sugar • FOOD

Easter Mood Board

Okay so maybe this is the opposite of a food post, however I find that sugar is one of the hardest things to give up, especially for girls when Mother Nature is soon to pop in for a visit. However Easter seems to be a time when people let any good habits they have cultivated go to pot and let the premise of sugar make them slide into unhealthy habits. But this doesn't have to be the case...

Don't Dismiss Date Night • LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIPS

Dates

The ideas of courting and the act of courtship for many is a foreign concept, one that seems corny and out of date. However if you get past the cheesy idea of actually caring about someone in a public manner that shows you care (as difficult as that may be... *rolls eyes*) the classic 'date' is not a soppy idea but in fact a smart one...

The Easy Guide to Re-Wearing Items to Make New Outfits • FASHION

Naming this post was a tricky one as in a short sentence it's hard to make it sound as easy as it is. However with March being such an odd month here in England (no thanks to global warming) dressing when the weather is in this awkward in-between stage before the spring season really does bloom, I felt that I had to rely on my most versatile pieces that work whatever the season. I was lucky enough to be invited along to a magazine launch party and whilst with the invitation brought my initial reaction of excitement there was also that instant alarm bell that all style addicts hear screaming at them 'WHAT DO I WEAR?!'

The Art of Complimenting, Conversation and The Ability to Listen • LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIPS

You Look Lovely

Women are pretty simple. You just need to read our instruction manual. We are like all models, as you update we come with new features. Once you have familiarised yourself with these features you will begin to question why you didn't update sooner and how much better this new version is. Okay so enough with the technology metaphors. Basically there's three fundemental things you need to learn to keep a woman happy: compliments, conversation and good listening skills.

FEBRUARY 2016 FAVOURITES • LIFESTYLE

So I promised that I would upload a 'proper' video and here it is! You can probably tell that I was slightly nervous whilst filming this and not at all helped by the fact that I had my braces altered and tightened so much that I barely speak properly! But never the less... I said I would start making 'sit down' videos for you and I have. What are you're thoughts on the sofa? Do we like this set up? Let me know by leaving me a thumbs up and subscribing to my channel!

Casual Dinner Date at Thai Thai Ka • FOOD

Sweet & Sour Vegetables, Coconut Rice, Thai Green Curry
I think it's safe for me to say that one of my favourite things to do with my time is eat out. I love going to nice places with friends, family, my boyfriend and enjoying a relaxed experience of eating good food. Now as a vegan I can be labelled as a fussy eater, so I would like to think if I recommend somewhere to someone they know it's going to be good. Connor and I went for a date night, where we had a lovely dinner at Thai Thai Ka (you can see what we ate and what it looked like in The Weekly Vlog #3). So as promised in my vlog, here is my review...

Dress As If Everyday Is A Date • LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIPS

Date Dresses
Now I'm a firm believer that your partner should love you unconditionally and not base your relationship on lust or what you look like, however we are liars if we say that the first thing we notice in someone is whether or not we are attracted to someone. I stand by the theory that in seven seconds you can say whether there is an initial attraction to someone or not. So whilst it's not essential to a make a relationship last, I do believe that looking attractive and making an effort for the other is what keeps an attracted spark alive.
